The ranks of the TOWIE originals are looking denuded at the start of the fourth series of the “structured reality” show that spawned a whole string of monsters (Desperate Scousewives, Made in Chelsea and so on) after defections to other “celebrity” shut-ins. Kirk Norcross packed his bags for Big Brother following in the footsteps of the pneumatic Amy Childs, and Mark Wright headed for the Australian jungle for I’m a Celebrity.
Back this series are Arg and Lydia, who will no doubt break up and get back together to keep their “storyline evolving” and save them from the chop (which also saw Harry Derbidge and Maria Fowler leave the show before filming began on this series).
Joining them are familiar faces as well as rumoured new characters; Georgina is meant to be “the new Mark Wright” and is “a true alpha female, takes no messing from men and owns numerous property developments”.
