The smart, special effects-laden fairy-tale fantasy continues, and there are ever more twists to the tale. Emma (House’s Jennifer Morrison) is getting used to life in Storybrooke, though she’s still not convinced about young Henry’s story that all the residents are in fact trapped fairy-tale characters. However, suspicions are raised when the fearsome mayor offers her a shiny red apple…
Over in the fantasy world, the Evil Queen visits her old chum Maleficent (True Blood’s Kristin Bauer van Straten) to compare cleavage, as well as retrieve the Dark Curse Rumplestiltskin gave her. But, as ever, there’s a terrible price to pay for revenge, as several people insist on reminding her.
