The arrival of Ted Danson has turned CSI into a very different beast. Even gruesome murders – a maid in an up-market Vegas hotel is found stabbed through the eye with a cocktail swizzle stick, and a security guard has his face shot off – fail to darken the playful mood he’s brought to the show.
The “primo” case here is equally daft: there’s an attempt to murder the ex-mayor Oscar Goodman (who actually was a Las Vegas mayor) during the opening party of a Mob museum. At least the secondary case gives Elisabeth Harnois as Morgan the chance to flex her acting muscles in a showdown with a suspect.
About this programme
4/22. Former Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman (playing himself) is the target of an assassination attempt at the opening of a law enforcement museum, and Bennett and his team discover the crime is linked to a gangster who went missing 20 years previously - taking a lucrative secret with him. Elsewhere, Nick and Morgan investigate when a housekeeper is found dead in a foreign prince's hotel room. Guest starring Philip Rhys (Survivors).
