Sheridan Smith’s comedy drama short has us prickling with embarrassment. Determined to go to her parents’ gigs (as country act the Daltons), young Sheridan became, age seven, part of the act…
Smith plays her mum, Ralf Little her dad, and Alan Davies puts in a cameo as a failing stand-up. It’s a fond and touching portrait, with lots of laughs.
