A frail schoolgirl obsessed with Barbra Streisand has trouble turning male heads. Her idea of chat-up involves bopping a boy over the head with her breathalyser. But this is no ordinary schoolgirl; it’s a teenage Jane Horrocks (played by Sophie Wright). In this magical micro-comedy the 70s are lovingly re-created (with help from Leo Sayer and Middle of the Road) and there’s a joyous twist in the tale.
