If you stuck your head in a wheel of Stilton, you couldn’t spend a cheesier hour this Christmas. The set is dressed as a Canadian log cabin, Bublé sings festive classics such as Jingle Bells, there’s a choir and a super-soppy moment involving an audience member — but so what?
When the Groover from Vancouver sings, it’s so silky smooth, female viewers may well have the same reaction as guest Dawn French does when he serenades her.
Think When Harry Met Sally. Bublé keeps his tongue in his cheek for the cornier bits and with the help of chef Gino D’Acampo, reveals his penchant for slapstick comedy, but it’s the voice that really matters — his duets with Gary Barlow on Rule the World and Home are just delicious.
This will definitely add a sparkle to your Christmas.
