About this programme
7/10. An exploration of the events that led to the deaths of nine people on board a 747 jet bound for Auckland, New Zealand, in February 1989, after the plane's cargo door was torn off. The official inquiry cited human error as the cause of the accident, and only the dogged persistence of bereaved parents Kevin and Susan Campbell revealed the mechanical failing in a locking mechanism, which led to the loss of their son Lee.
