Kirstie loses a bit of a her trademark heartiness when she faces the daunting prospect of entering her papercrafts in the mighty Royal Welsh Show. Her seagull made from newspaper takes its place in her “decoupage with a seaside theme” and those rings made from old books – lovely!
But as she arrives at the showground, Kirstie is rocked by the brilliance of the other entries. Some of them are creations of real beauty and Kirstie is brought up short when she realises that her seabird scene looks bit sad. She keeps up her spirits, though, with a trip to the Welsh WI tent where she makes gelatin flowers.
