6/8. Lecturer Alastair Matheson is stabbed to death in front of 30 fledgling police officers during a knife demonstration. At first it seems no more than a fatal accident in a training exercise, but when Matt, Robbie and Jackie discover that the weapon was tampered with, they find themselves faced with a murder inquiry in an all too familiar environment.
