Tim Marlow, the go-to guy for incisive art criticism on television, accompanies potter, provocateur and all-round national treasure Grayson Perry on a tour of the British Museum, where Perry has just curated an exhibition, The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman.
It includes objects he has chosen, magpie-like, from the museum’s collection, plus new works of his own; he describes the show as “a memorial to the anonymous craftsmen that over the centuries have fashioned the man-made wonders of the world”.
