This programme should carry a health warning: I felt queasy after being bombarded by illusions showing that human perception is easily fooled. The trickery is stunning, but there’s hard science behind it, as we learn how our brains make sense of the world.
If you caught last year’s Horizon doc Is Seeing Believing?, you’ll already have seen many of the illusions, and know the science, but it’s still fun to see others discombobulated by the tricks that the senses play on their minds.
