In Touch isn’t only for blind or partially sighted people, it’s a sharply focused mix of news, views and information with broad appeal. This year the programme turns 50 and, to celebrate, Peter White is taking the show live for a one-hour special from the BBC Radio Theatre in London.
Joining the party are visually impaired guests from entertainment and politics, including winner of Channel 4’s Operatunity Denise Leigh, actor Ryan Kelly (The Archers), author Sue Townsend, veteran broadcaster Denis Norden, campaigner Jill Allen-King MBE and David Blunkett MP.
