Hands up: who else thought that Milton, Sylvia’s cruise-ship love interest, was just a figment of her imagination? Well, we’re all going to be proved wrong as he arrives in Weatherfield, played by Hustle and Man from UNCLE smoothie Robert Vaughn (above, far right). What next, Illya Kuryakin making a play for Emily Bishop at the church bazaar?
Of course, Milton isn’t the only miraculously well preserved septuagenarian on the Street. Ken Barlow, unable to forgive Tracy yet again, tells her that he wants her out of number one. It’s news that tautens Deirdre’s straining neck muscles
to snapping point.
About this programme
Peter lies to Leanne and arranges to spend a night in Chester with Carla, but Frank's private investigator finds out and is instructed to follow them. Ken refuses to forgive Tracy and orders her out of the house, while Eileen's friends show their disapproval when they discover she and Paul are seeing each other. Kylie makes an effort to overhaul Max's diet, and Sylvia's friend Milton (Robert Vaughn) arrives just as the music contest gets under way.
