About this programme

1/4. An elderly man is killed in his dilapidated mansion, prompting Gently and Bacchus to delve into the building's past as a children's home. They soon have their prime suspect - a man who once lived there - but it becomes clear that some of the locals, including property developer Cora Davidson, have something to hide. Feature-length drama, guest starring Matthew McNulty (Five Days) and Jill Halfpenny (Waterloo Road), with Martin Shaw and Lee Ingleby.
