About this programme
Survival expert Bear Grylls takes chat-show host and novice adventurer Jonathan Ross on an expedition into the rainforests of little-known Canary Island La Palma. The pair go trekking through dense jungle using machetes to clear their way, rope down from a helicopter in the style of the SAS, walk down an active volcano and sleep inside a cave in a steep cliff face during an intense two-day trip.
