She’s celebrated for her physical maladroitness, so how on earth will comic actress Miranda Hart manage when teamed with Mr Adventure himself, Bear Grylls, on a trek to the Swiss Alps? Bear shows her the skills involved in traversing glaciers, tackling deep snow and scrambling over boulders, so will she be abseiling with abandon, or getting caught up in her karabiners?

It might seem an unlikely pairing, but both have a military background — Bear was in the SAS, while Miranda’s father is a decorated naval officer — so you imagine they’ll have plenty to talk about. In the next episode, Bear will be taking Jonathan Ross to the jungle.
