Art critic Waldemar Januszczak explores the impact the Baroque movement had on Spain - where it thrived and sometimes shocked - joining the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela and charting the journey Spanish Baroque made to places including Peru and Latin America. He also visits Flanders and Holland, where Rubens and Rembrandt embraced Baroque.
