About this programme

Charles Wood's 1988 fact-based drama, starring Colin Firth and directed by Richard Eyre. Scots Guards officer Robert Lawrence is shot in the head by an Argentine sniper during the Falklands campaign of 1982. Left paralysed on one side of his body, he struggles to adjust to his new disability and the loss of his military career. With Paul Rhys, David Calder and Barbara Leigh-Hunt.
