Fans of Harry and Ruth will probably be hoarse by now from shouting, “For goodness’ sake just tear each other’s clothes off and DO IT!” They don’t, of course, their strange love affair remains decorous and chaste. But the fires of romance haven’t been completely tamped down, you can tell just by looking at Ruth’s face when she confronts Harry about the frozen porcelain Russian beauty we were introduced to last week. And you will hand your heart to her on a plate when she demands full disclosure from her boss: “I know my role, dependable Ruth. I can live with that only if I’m truly in your confidence.”
Meanwhile The Grid is in chaos. A laptop containing sensitive information has been stolen and someone is threatening to download its explosive contents on to the internet. We don’t know who, but we learn that they are horribly, deadly, serious.
