About this programme

9/12. In the middle of the Dominican Republic's hurricane season, the survival expert jumps from a helicopter and swims through the open sea to a deserted island. He struggles against dehydration and tropical heat while making a raft from storm debris. On the mainland, he scales a vertical canyon to escape rising flood waters, and faces the prospect of eating tarantula for breakfast.
