New Tricks

Series 8 - 8. Only the Brave

A frightened young girl turns to Ucos with new information about the murder of a motorcycle gang leader. She is played by Emily Glenister, who bears a remarkable resemblance to her dad Robert Glenister and her mum, Amanda Redman. You’ll note the similarities when the camera swings between them as the girl, Stephanie, pours out her heart to Sandra (Redman).

It’s a very, very talky New Tricks and the central plot is hopelessly confusing. But the pattern runs true to form: lots of repetition and once again a presentable new interloper – this week it’s Shaun Dingwall, as
a detective mate of Sandra’s.
