You always know you’re in trouble in a crime drama when “the media” catch wind of one of those... oh what do they call those things, you know what I mean, things that people are interested in? Ah yes, a good story, I believe it’s called.
Anyway, the pesky “the media” are causing gorblimey guv’nor Natalie Chandler no end of trouble when they take an interest in breaking news involving a Bonnie-and-Clyde couple wearing Thatcher and Blair masks who go on a shooting spree. Honestly, why would “the media” be interested? I can’t imagine.
“The media” are camped outside the nick while doughty detectives Brooks and Devlin hunt the killers...

4/6. The start of a shooting rampage through the streets of London leaves a nightclub peppered with bullets and two victims bleeding on the floor. With the media swarming all over the case and a hostage to track down, Brooks and Devlin race against the clock to find the duo responsible for the massacre, but their defence barrister (Lesley Manville) claims one of them was more innocent victim than violent killer.
