About this programme

2/6. Now on the verge of adulthood, Roddy experiences the first pangs of true love, causing tension in his friendships with Mary Ellen and Hal. He also wins a scholarship to art college with help from mill boss Mr Mulcaster, but evil Dan Bannaman tries to ensure he never makes it further than the front gate, and with sidekick Feeler, plans to put him in the frame for attempted murder.
