About this programme

6/16. Tony Robinson and the crew embark on a search for the remains of a Roman settlement in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, where numerous samples of brick, tiles and pottery were excavated in the 1960s. They know the major Roman highway Ermine Street is somewhere nearby, but its precise location proves elusive.
