About this programme

Unlike their common scavenger counterparts, the hyenas of Tanzania's plains are skilled pack hunters who often fall victim to the predations of larger carnivores. This documentary follows the fortunes of cub Naabi, who is forced to leave the safety of the clan after her mother is killed by lions.
