Mary Portas comes to the aid of a DIY store in Surrey that has seen profits plunge by 60 per cent over the course of three years due to people rejecting the local shop in favour of big warehouse rivals. The owner has lost his focus and introduced greetings cards, novelty calendars and even pets, but as Mary tries to save the business, she meets resistance.
