Now that he's back sitting in judgement on The Voice, it's  worth reminding ourselves how Tom Jones earnt his place in the pop pantheon. An Imagine profile from 2010 recalls how his supercharged vocals won the admiration of Elvis, Frank Sinatra and millions of fans after he burst onto the scene with It's Not Unusual in 1965 - and how he later made one of the great comebacks in pop.

A compilation of his BBC archive performances and a BBC Sessions live set from last year round out the picture.
