19/26. Analysis of the importance of minehunters - vessels which enabled the Allies to thwart German attempts to cut off Great Britain's supply lines and starve the country into submission. Leading the campaign to safeguard Merchant Navy ships transporting oil and wheat were Commanders John Ouvry and Roger Lewis, who were ordered by Churchill to find a solution to the menace of mines and responded in triumphant fashion.
