A man returns from a business trip to find his wife beaten unconscious. The only witness is their daughter, but she has a rare genetic disorder that has delayed her development. It puts Elliot in a difficult position: he doesn’t want to upset the sensitive girl with his questioning and in any case her testimony may not be considered reliable in court. Aidan Quinn plays the duplicitous father but it’s Paulina Gerzon who steals the show with what many have applauded as a near-perfect representation of someone with Williams syndrome.
