About this programme

When a couple fail to turn up at the airport for a flight to Italy and their dog is found brutally killed in what appears to be a burglary at their home, suspicion falls on their son, who holds a grudge against his father for turning him in for possession of a class A drug. A neighbour produces mobile phone footage of the family car being torched by teenagers, one of whom is known to the police, and the case takes an unexpected twist when the Sun Hill team starts tracking the missing persons' bank account. Former EastEnders actor Stuart Laing (Rob Minter) guest stars.
