About this programme

Michael Berkeley welcomes consultant rheumatologist Dr Christopher Wynn Parry, who specialises in upper limb problems developed by performing musicians. His choices range from the music he first encountered and performed himself as a student at Oxford, especially vocal music by Monteverdi, Machaut and Byrd, to a keyboard Partita by Bach, a Mozart wind serenade, Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks and Stravinsky's ballet Apollon Musagète.
