Susan pretends a quiet Christmas away at a country retreat would be better for Ben than another holiday at home, but her plans to spring a family surprise on him backfire in spectacular fashion. Meanwhile, Nick's friend Alfie is left babysitting Uncle Idris but turns up at the hotel looking for his charge, Michael and Janey bring along unexpected guests, and newly qualified masseuse Abi finds her cousin Ben on the table as her first customer.
