The reverse fixture at the City Ground finished in a 0-0 draw, and while Neil Warnock's men would maybe settle for a repeat of that result at the end of 90 minutes, Billy Davies' men will be seeking a win as they continue to battle for a place in the play-offs. Forest's record on this ground has not been good during recent times, with their last league victory being in the 1997/98 season, whereas Rangers have won three of the five fixtures to have taken place since then.
