You have to laugh at the fact that they’ve called this called this Suspect Behaviour. What? As opposed to all the beautifully behaved psychopaths in the original Criminal Minds? But not much is different about this spin-off: we have the quirky team, the use of the word “UnSub” to describe the bad guys and good guys with inner demons.

Sure, there’s a good turn from Forest Whitaker as leader Sam Cooper, but the show just isn’t distinctive enough. Perhaps it should serve as a warning: not every US crime drama needs to become a franchise.

2/13. The Red Cell team travels to Cincinnati to track down a killer targeting single businessmen in upmarket hotels, following the deaths of three men in two weeks. Using CCTV footage from one of the hotels, they identify the main suspect, a woman who seems to be luring her victims with sex and then killing them. Starring Forest Whitaker and Janeane Garofalo.
