About this programme

Chefs Si King and Dave Myers scour the nation to find out what women are cooking for their families over the festive period. They discover recipes including roast goose with all the trimmings and salted cured lamb steamed over birch twigs. They also prepare their own seasonal favourites, such as loin of venison in homemade sloe gin and lime seared scallops with smoked salmon fritters. The journey culminates with more than 200 women sharing their recipes in a stately home.
