It might seem perverse to highlight repeats of Sky1’s knockabout sports quiz but there’s a reason. They’ve done a clever thing and dusted off episodes that feature Olympic gold-medal heroes, from back when they were just regular run-of-the-mill sporting heroes. There are two episodes featuring fab heptathlete Jessica Ennis as well as an episode with Mo Farah that made a kind of history.
Host James Corden suggested Farah needed to come up with a trademark gesture similar to Usain Bolt’s lightning pose to use when he won at the Olympics, whereupon Clare Balding offered the idea of doing the “M” move from YMCA. And thus was the “Mobot” craze born.
