Men's Singles Final

Men's Singles Final

About this programme

Sue Barker introduces live coverage of the men's singles final between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer at the All England Club, as the concluding day of the third Grand Slam tournament gets under way on Centre Court. This year's match will have to be dramatic to equal the sense of occasion experienced by the crowd here last year, when Andy Murray finally ended the lengthy British drought to defeat then world number one Djokovic in straight sets. The Serbian will be determined to bounce back from that setback by winning this event for the second time and enters the match as the favourite. However, a seven-time champion stands in his way, and an eighth triumph for Federer would see him hold the record outright for Wimbledon titles, as he currently shares the honour with Pete Sampras and William Renshaw. Subsequent programmes subject to change.
