Coronation Street

Episode 8310

Hayley’s decision to take her own life may have been the right one for her, but it’s left a lot of guilt for those left behind. Roy is too angry with himself to grieve, but not half as annoyed as Fiz, who tonight discovers the truth about her friend’s suicide.

“She and Roy really do fall out,” actress Jennie McAlpine tells RT. “But it’s good that the writers chose to do something a bit different. What we don’t get is Fiz just saying how sad she is that it’s happened.” The whole sorry situation may be too distressing for words, but there’s bound to be some powerhouse performances from McAlpine and David Neilson, both of whom have been terrific during these aftermath scenes.
