If our recent Olympic successes at Eton Dorney have put you in the mood for a bit more oars action, you may enjoy this repeat from 2004. Except this is Britain’s most lethal county, so one look at the idyllic scene of Midsomer Regatta and you know dark deeds are afoot. Sure enough the rowing is brought to a standstill because the body of the rowing club chairman is found on the finishing line.
A serial philanderer, the man was widely disliked, but which of his enemies bumped him off? A strong supporting cast includes Diana Quick and a cameo appearance from Sir Steve Redgrave himself.
