About this programme

Primatologist Julie Anderson and writer Guy Grieve conclude their study of a little-known species of monkey in the African rainforest. Julie takes to the trees to get a primate's view of her surroundings and has a nerve-racking encounter with a silverback gorilla, while Guy has a close call with a forest elephant. But all the hard work pays off when Julie finally earns the red-capped mangabeys' trust.
