About this programme
Hollywood actress Marina Gregg and her director husband take up residence at Gossington Hall in the village of St Mary Mead and hold a reception to meet their new neighbours. The celebrations turn to tragedy, however, after a fan fatally drinks a poisoned cocktail apparently meant for the new lady of the manor. But a different picture begins to emerge as Marina spits out a similarly spiked cup of coffee on the set of her new film - and Miss Marple investigates the star's unhappy past. Julia McKenzie stars, with Lindsay Duncan, Nigel Harman, Joanna Lumley, Martin Jarvis, Hugh Bonneville and Michele Dotrice.
