About this programme
4/12. December arrives and the hardships of winter take their toll on Alex Langlands, Peter Ginn and Ruth Goodman. As the traditional livelihood methods dry up, the men travel to the coast to embark on sea fishing, while Ruth has to look for domestic service work at a grand Edwardian stately home.
