About this programme
18/22. A scientist testifying against a tobacco corporation is killed while under Skinner's protection. Mulder and Scully discover the company's illicit experiments have created a deadly strain of beetle that lays eggs in the smoke and eats the lungs of those who inhale them. As Mulder falls prey to the bugs, his only hope is the surviving human test subject. Saw's Tobin Bell guest stars.
