The scriptwriters seem to have totally lost the plot. There’s no real focus to the episode. We don’t know whether to be on tenterhooks over Felicia’s attempts to poison Paul and frame Susan for his death or intrigued by the cop who has been stalking (or as he puts it “courting”) Bree and is, in case you haven’t recognised him, slimmed-down British hunk Jonathan Cake.
We do, however, get an inkling that the latest marital row in the Scavo household may be the last one, as well as a laughable storyline about a horror film that’s giving Juanita Solis nightmares, although at least this is bolstered by the appearance of a mysterious man skulking around Wisteria Lane. If I’m not mistaken it’s Ugly Betty’s Tony Plana under that trilby.
