Now that Gibbs’s family is out of immediate danger, there’s room for more laughs at NCIS HQ.So it’s a less melodramatic episode than the previous one, which kicked off season eight, but no less entertaining.
The new interns are the butt of all jokes, as the team teach the youngsters their impatient and comically unforgiving ways, passed on to them in turn by Gibbs (Mark Harmon). DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) is suspicious. Gibbs has never allowed interns in before:
“He never does anything without a reason,” says DiNozzo with narrowed eyes. Whatever that reason is, Gibbs is too busy with a kidnap case to reveal it.
