About this programme
7/17. Tony Robinson and the team visit Milton Keynes, where they descend on the village of Wicken, which originally formed when two settlements merged more than 400 years ago. The locals want to identify the older half, and when the archaeologists begin their dig they discover evidence of an early Saxon community on the site and an ancient burial ground beneath the ruins of a church.
