Does the law allow for human fraiilty? It’s one of the big questions that hang over the final, gut-wrenching episodes of this superb thriller.
Laure Berthaud is relentless in her pursuit of the serial killer, but will she be there to raise a glass to her battered sidekick at his leaving drinks? The ties that bind the police captain to Gilou and Tintin are so deep, it’s as though they’re involved in a love triangle.
Those who have followed every perverse turn of the drama will know not to expect a simple, sunny resolution.
