All of Ambridge knows that you reap what you sow - and with harvest time upon us, it's a bumper crop. As Tom finds Brenda less than supportive of his attempts to sever ties with Brian, he can't believe she would side with his uncle. She, though, has learnt much from Matt and suggests Tom may be being ungrateful to the man who saved his business.
Meanwhile, a struggling Neil is forced to trade with Tom, despite their past antagonism, and Ed, at loggerheads with Susan over his involvement with George, gears up for the Grange Farm Open Day.
Elsewhere, Pat and Tony await the Borchester Land vote on whether or not they can buy the Bridge Farm tenancy. All that stress is enough to have you contemplating escaping - as indeed Alice is, albeit just to a music festival where she just happens to bump into a smitten Chris Carter. Coincidence? No such thing. |
