How has this second series of Torchwood measured up?
The first series, which originally aired on BBC3 in 2006, achieved the channel's highest ratings for the year, with an audience that peaked at 2.8 million. This series, which began on BBC2, has peaked with an audience of 4.2 million and an average of 3.5 million.
But there's no rest for [star John] Barrowman - he's on I'd Do Anything on BBC1, hosting a new family quiz on BBC2 and, of course, popping up in Doctor Who on BBC1.
