Shameless is back for a fourth
series and the Chatsworth Estate has got
a new hard man - Jamie Maguire, played by
Aaron McCusker from The Rotters'
Club. It's all a far cry from McCusker's first
stab at acting, when he was singing and
dancing in musicals at his local theatre group
in Portadown, Northern Ireland.
"As a
teenager, I did things like Guys and Dolls," he
grins. "Some of my mates were the sort of
guys who would kick the crap out of you, so
they gave me no end of stick about the
acting. I didn't care… the girls loved it."
